Our Core Beliefs & Worldview

Culture Craft believes in our intrinsic human value and self-worth

"Achievement does not, except by arbitrary definition, augment your intrinsic worth. Your successes actually do not raise your intrinsic worth; nor do your failures lower your human value." - Albert Ellis

In the symbol, the upper space is our extrinsic value - our constructed reality - our grand illusion. The modern human game that we all play on a day-to-day basis. In our constructed reality, we are perceived according to our external and internal differences. Because of our storylines, we have a tendency to deprive ourselves of vital things – freedom and self-worth - things that inherently belong to every individual.

Our extrinsic human value is created by others, and sadly our societies operate mostly based on extrinsic values. To escape this narrow mindset, we need to learn to understand and accept our true human nature. We are all humans. We are all equal on a fundamental basis. Maybe our functions differ in the human game, but that has nothing to do with who we really are.

In the symbol, the lower space is our intrinsic value - our basis for true self-worth. The type of self-worth that no one has the power to take away. Even under the most extreme conditions, a human being can decide to be inherently valuable.

"I'm valuable just because I exist"

Our intrinsic value is based on the subjective decision we each can make. It serves as our foundational moral ground, and the basis for human dignity. It can complement and complete our extrinsic value, but when it doesn’t, our intrinsic human value alone can empower and provide the basis for the right to be, to have self-worth, and to act with confidence.

Our prosocial worldview

Prosocial describes Culture Craft's entire worldview. It is an orientation toward the welfare of others and society as a whole.

Prosocial is an approach that effectively guides individuals, teams, organisations, and community groups to create social conditions that strengthen cooperative behaviours, encourage shared effort towards a common goal, and discourage disruptive behaviour.

The result is a powerful harmony between self-interest and the interest of the team, business unit, and organisation, as they align to a collective purpose.
